Dear family,
Hi!!!! It´s been a busy week as always, our numbers don´t really reflect it this week, but we were working hard in the heat. It´s a really good thing that the ice cream is SO delicious! I mean really good, I´m gonna miss it, so I´m stalking up ;) Today we went to Villa Adelina and played futbol with the elders (that´s pretty much what we do every week) it was fun and we had a good time. I still don´t really play soccer well, my goal is to just be in the way of the other team, it works pretty well. One of the elders got confronted by my companion and I and wasn´t sure exactly what to do with the ball, he said he was scared with the two Hermanas right there. HAHAHa (he´s new, only has three weeks here.)
Well we have been running a lot this week, seems like every time we got o take the bus it either is just about to leave so we have to book it to catch it or we are waiting like half an hour. Oh the other day it rained like Crazy. A huge down pour it rain so much so fast that all of the roads were like rivers. It wasn´t so bad here, but in some of the elders areas it was like knee to waist high. Well we got soaked and waited for a colectivo (bus) for 1 1/2 hours! it was fun...in a way. I was doing pretty well the first hour, humming singing in the rain, but when it started getting close to the hour we needed to be home i got a little more nervous. It all worked out okay in the end.
I also had the opportunity to go to capital on Saturday and do another ¨open chapel¨ well they changed the name to visitors center in the church, anyway it was a lot of fun, but is really tiring, we are taking people on these 30 min, tours through the church for 4 hours strait and it was fast Sunday, so no water to drink. It was just one more of those fun experiences, oh plus I went with Hermana Reed. President wanted the senior comps to go so our junior companions were together here covering both areas. They both only have 9 weeks in Argentina. I heard it worked out okay and they only got a little lost looking for a colectivo stop. Oh by the way, Jaime, if you get this email. You know Hermana Reed (Carlee) she worked with you at the museum at BYU. We´ve shared an apartment for the last 9 weeks. Small world huh.
Well I don´t have too much more to say. I love you all and am really grateful for the emails. Thanks to Mary, Brother Millard, Dad, aunt Janie, Barbara, Betsy and Mom. Sounds like life is good and full of blessing and adventures. I can´t wait to be a part of them all.
Lots of love,
Aleta
